Co-Founder Bios - Reid Beyerlein (Pictured on Left)

Born and raised in Royal Oak , Reid Beyerlein felt it was time to give something back to the community. The creation of Ties Like Me! came from a strategic partnership with Robert Lalicki in Spring of 2005.

Reid has always been a part of the community. He attended Cranbrook Schools for high school and then went on to Hope College where he double majored in Economics and Business Administration, graduating Cum Laude. After finishing college he went to work for a multi million dollar construction sales company as their Operations Coordinator. He administrated the pension plan, health care program, company insurance, along with selling to a few select clients. After the company was merged with a larger firm Reid felt it necessary to get back to his small business roots and opened a Branch of Raymond James investments. He deals with the individual investor along with small business retirement plans. Reid manages millions of dollars for hundreds of clients throughout the United States . Reid is committed to bringing personal service back to the investment world and will gladly meet you at home or your office in order to make sure your financial needs are met. Reid also has an understanding of the unique circumstances his gay and lesbian brothers and sister face when it comes to dealing with their finances. Reid is not only one of the creators of Ties Like Me! he also serves on the Board of Trustee's for the South Oakland Boys and Girls Club. He is an ambassador for the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board for the Royal Oak Optimist club.

 

Co-Founder Bios - Robert Lalicki (Pictured on Right)

Born in Detroit, raised in Warren, now living in Rochester Hills, Robert Lalicki knew it was the right time to develop a network for the community to make it stronger and drive commerce. The concept of Ties Like Me! was created with his business partner Reid Beyerlein in Spring of 2005.

Robert has always played a part in the community, from volunteering forWellness Networks 1992, started the neighborhood association FANS of Ferndale in 1995 and was a member of the Motor City Business Forum for 2 years. From volunteering at his church to being a committee member for both the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and Birmingham/Bloomfield Chamber, Robert is always on the go making his corner of the world just a little brighter!

This year Robert is celebrating his 20th year in the field of finance. He started his career in 1986 as a teller at Michigan National Bank, working his way up through the years to becoming a Personal Service Banker in the Private Banking Division before leaving the bank in 1996. The last ten years, Robert has strictly been originating residential mortgages as a Home Loan Consultant, the last three years proudly at Flagstar Bank.

Recently Robert has earned a promotion as a Relationship Banker in Flagstar Bank's Specialized Banking Services Department.  Licensed to offer a vast array of products and services, Robert offers his clients wealth management, growth, and preservation strategies that help them achieve and protect their financial goals.
